HLB Latin America adds member firms in Ecuador and Chile
International accounting and consulting network HLB has expanded its presence in Latin America with the addition of new members firms in Ecuador and Chile.
In Ecuador, Quito-based EW Group has joined HLB’s ranks. Rebranded as HLB Ecuador, the firm will operate together with HLB Consultores Moran Cedillo, which was established 27 years ago and has offices in Guayaquil, Quito and Cuenca.
Established in 2014, the new HLB Ecuador is regarded as one of Quito’s leading professional services firms with expertise in audit, tax and financial advice, accounting and in legal and tax services. The firm works for clients in a variety of industries including airline, health, manufacturing, oil, gas & energy, and retail.
Meanwhile, in Chile, HLB late 2020 bolstered its presence in the country with the addition of the former member firm of Grant Thornton. Now operating as HLB Surlatina Chile, the firm is according to HLB one the larger professional services firms with expertise in audit, tax, outsourcing, IT & process consulting, and legal services in Santiago. The firm also has an office in the city of Concepción.

In 2020, HLB added new members firms in Bolivia and Mexico, and Mexico and Jamaica.
