BrazilAlvarez & Marsal appoints three Managing Directors in Brazil
Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal has promoted three of its company members in Brazil to the position of Managing Director.
Henrique Biscolla is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in São Paulo. He specializes in financial restructuring and his primary areas of concentration are debt renegotiation, mergers, and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic negotiations.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Biscolla was a Business Controller at Siemens Brazil in the Industrial Service Division. Previously, he worked for three years in one of the largest power distribution companies in Brazil, specializing in energy trading in the free market and energy purchasing in the regulated market.
Eduardo Gallardo is also based in the firm’s São Paulo office, and similarly specializes in financial restructuring. His primary areas of concentration are debt renegotiation and Chapter 11 process management. He has more than 10 years of corporate finance, financial planning, performance and competitiveness improvement, negotiation and project management experience.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Gallardo spent six years with Siemens in São Paulo as a CFO in the industry sector. He was responsible for sales planning, performance management, contracts negotiation and budget setting, managing an annual turnover of over 100 million BRL.
Emerson Santana brings 16 years of experience in leading buy-side and sell-side due diligence and structuring to his Managing Director role, specifically in the tax and labor areas on behalf of private equity and corporate acquirers. His track record includes working on transactions in various industries including telecommunication, manufacturing, chemicals, infrastructure, financial services, and agribusiness.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Santana worked with KPMG for sixteen years. He was latterly a Director in KPMG’s transaction advisory services practice in São Paulo.
