BrazilDSS promotes Gisele Cabrini to global head of Power and Utilities
DuPont Sustainable Solutions has appointed Gisele Cabrini as the new global leader of its Power and Utilities division. She brings more than twelve years of experience to the role.
Building on best-in-class methodologies, the power and utilities practice of DuPont Sustainable Solutions provides solutions to help companies protect people, and increase efficiencies, across various utility sectors. With clients in fossil, nuclear, and sustainable energy generation, power transmission and distribution, wastewater and beyond, the firm helps protect lives and minimise risk with operational frameworks and cultural transformations at a number of the world’s largest utility providers.
Taking the reins of the practice is Gisele Cabrini, who has spent the last twelve years of her career with DuPont Sustainable Solutions, haven risen through the ranks at the consulting firm since joining as a trainee in 2008 after graduating in Industrial Engineering from the Universidade Federal de São Carlos.
Cabrini has worked on several projects in Latin America and gained recognition for her solid technical knowledge, entrepreneurship and agility among clients and co-workers. Most recently, her ascent through the firm saw her named a Business Director in 2019 – becoming responsible for DuPont Sustainable Solutions’ Power and Utilities and Manufacturing industry verticals in Brazil.
During her two years in the job, a LinkedIn release from the consultancy said she was “instrumental in defining market strategy & managing key accounts.”
The post announcing her promotion has since garnered almost 300 responses from well-wishers, friends and colleagues.
