FTI Consulting hires Big Four veteran Cristiano Rios in Brazil
Global professional services firm FTI Consulting has welcomed seasoned professional Cristiano Rios to its team in Brazil.
Appointed a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, São Paulo-based Cristiano Rios brings more than 20 years of experience in consultancy to the firm.
Rios has extensive experience in business transformation and operations, having worked with clients on topics including operations strategy, supply chain optimization, large-scale transformation, and digital/systems implementation. His track record spans clients across multiple industries including retail, healthcare, life sciences and industrials.
At FTI Consulting, a global consulting firm with more than 7,600 employees in 30+ countries, Rios will focus on business transformation, driving sustainable results through cost reduction, inventory optimization strategy, supply chain operations, logistics, distribution optimization, and merger integration and carve-outs.
Rios most recently worked at KPMG, where he was a partner and leader of its Operations practice. Previously, he served three of the other Big Four firms: Deloitte, EY, and PwC, following an early career in industry where he held roles in supply chain.
“The hire of Cristiano demonstrates our commitment to expanding our business transformation services and is part of FTI Consulting’s continued commitment to an important region for the firm,” said Carlyn Taylor, Global Co-Leader of the Corporate Finance & Restructuring division at FTI Consulting.
Commenting on his new challenge, Rios said: “I look forward to leveraging the existing expertise of my FTI Consulting colleagues in the region as we help clients in broad business transformation efforts, including cost reduction, procurement optimization, logistics improvements and distribution strategies.”
Rios becomes FTI Consulting’s fifth Senior Managing Director in São Paulo, alongside Samuel Aguirre, Leonardo Florencio, Antonio Gesteira, and Luciano Lindemann.
