Global strategy and management consulting firm Bain & Company has appointed three new partners in Sao Paulo.

Arián Krakov has been with Bain & Company since 2019 and has more than 18 years of experience in consulting.

A member of the Energy & Natural Resources, Advanced Manufacturing, Agribusiness, and Digital practices, he works with large national and multinational groups in sectors such as agribusiness, mining, steel, equipment, beverages, and consumer goods across Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Ecuador, and Peru.

Krakov specialises in topics including strategy, post-merger integration, joint venture, planning, go-to-market B2B strategy, operational improvement, and digital transformation.

Before Bain & Company, he worked for 14 years as a management consultant in Argentina and Brazil, working in the steel, chemical, cement, and utilities sectors. He also worked as an engineer in regulatory and quality affairs for Unilever.

Daniela Carbinato is a member of the firm’s Consumer Products, Retail, and ESG practices. She joined the strategy consultancy in 2011 and has more than 10 years of experience in management consulting.

Carbinato has worked with large national and multinational groups in several industries such as cosmetics, retail, department stores, apparel & footwear, beverages and private equity in Brazil and Latin America.

She has led projects with clients involving strategy redesign, portfolio/assortment review (product & category), brand management, sales & channel, effectiveness, go-to-market, customer segmentation, sustainability strategy (circularity and decarbonization), and mergers & acquisitions.

Prior to joining Bain & Company, Carbinato worked for Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada as a Macroeconomy researcher.

Wagner Cost is an expert in the Energy & Natural Resources, Oil & Gas and Chemicals practices. He has more than 12 years of management consulting experience.

Cost has led engagements addressing operations excellence, performance improvement, demand and supply planning, commercial excellence, business unit strategy, mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, customer loyalty and supplier management. His focus is on clients in the chemicals, energy, agribusiness, financial services, logistics, airlines and private equity sectors.

Before & Company, he worked at BAT in Brazil and at Michelin in France and Canada in operations areas.
