FTI Consulting welcomes Antonio Meca and Uriel Silva
FTI Consulting has expanded its technology capabilities in the Brazilian market with the hire of Antonio Meca and Uriel Silva.
Appointed a Managing Director, Antonio Meca brings nearly two decades of experience in e-discovery, fraud investigations and dispute resolution to the firm. He also brings more than ten years of experience testifying before the Brazilian Court in e-discovery preservation processes to clarify data acquisition and analysis processes used to generate evidence for the jury.
Meca has spent a significant portion of his career within Big Four firms. Most recently, he was a partner at KPMG in its Forensic Services practice, having risen the ranks from senior manager level. Earlier, he served PwC for eight years, and worked in industry.
“Antonio is one of Brazil’s foremost technical experts in e-discovery, digital forensics and investigations. He will be instrumental in building up our forensic lab here in Brazil and providing leadership to our growing team of technical consultants and experts,” said Antonio Gesteira, a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting.
Appointed a Director, Uriel Silva similarly specialises in digital forensics and e-discovery matters. He brings extensive solution development experience for multinational matters, complex digital forensic investigations, gathering and managing data, data recovery, compliance risk assessments and e-discovery.
Silva crosses to FTI Consulting from Control Risks, where he was a Manager. Before that, he worked for FTI Consulting and its spin-off VSI, following an earlier career at EY.
