Andersen Consulting continues Argentina growth with Alamo Consultores and Ignis

Having already added four new member firms in Latin America this summer, Andersen Consulting has struck again – now welcoming Alamo Consultores and Ignis.

Both companies are based in Buenos Aires, with Ignis specializing in marketing, while Alamo Consultores focuses on SAP transformations.

Established in Argentina since 2012, Alamo Consultores is a boutique consulting firm delivering technology solutions to clients across Latin America, North America, and Europe. The firm provides end-to-end support across the SAP lifecycle, including implementation, upgrades, and ongoing management, to clients in the retail, manufacturing, finance, logistics, energy, healthcare, and automotive industries.

The firm’s consultants specialize in functional and technical consulting, and also support clients with project delivery and change management.

“At Alamo Consultores, we focus on turning complexity into clarity, enabling clients to evolve through technology with flexibility, integrity, and long-term vision,” said Pablo Villamil, Founder and CEO. “Becoming a collaborating firm of Andersen Consulting allows us to expand our reach and apply our experience in technology transformation to a wider set of global challenges.”

Ignis meanwhile is a media agency. The company has expertise in marketing communications strategy, market research, media planning and buying, and digital marketing, serving clients across Latin America in industries such as banking, insurance, and food & beverage.

“We’ve built Ignis with a spirit of entrepreneurship and bold thinking, and this collaboration enhances the global reach and resources to continue scaling that vision,” said Alejandro Terzi, Chairman and Founder of Ignis. “Joining Andersen Consulting opens new doors for innovation, fuels our ability to take on more ambitious challenges, and ultimately, allows us to deliver even greater solutions to our clients.”

Andersen Consulting was once one of the biggest names in the world of consulting. The brand however was retired in 2000 after its rebranding to Accenture. At the start of this year, the brand was re-launched by Andersen with the ambition to become a $1 billion consulting business by 2028. In the first six months of 2025, the network has established a presence in over 65 countries and grown its team to around 3,000 employees.
