Altman Solon deepens Brazilian presence with new office in São Paulo
Altman Solon, a global strategy consultancy specialising in telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT), has launched a new office in São Paulo – its second in Latin America.
The move in the Brazilian market formalizes the firm’s longstanding work with clients in the country – Altman Solon has been advising local companies and investors for over a decade. The launch also positions Altman Solon to expand both its client base and footprint in the region’s largest market.
“We are excited to deepen our presence in Brazil, Latin America’s largest market for digital infrastructure and innovation,” said Rory Altman, Managing Partner at Altman Solon. “Brazil leads the region in telecom scale, cloud investment, and fiber connectivity. Formalizing our local presence enables us to work more closely with clients navigating Brazil’s dynamic TMT landscape and accelerate our support for the region’s growing role in the global digital economy.”
Daniel Torras, Partner at Altman Solon, added: “Brazil is at the forefront of digital transformation in the region, with an increasingly sophisticated ecosystem for cloud, fintech, and streaming. Our new São Paulo office strengthens our ability to help our clients capture opportunities in Brazil and across Latin America.”
São Paulo marks Altman Solon’s 18th global office, joining hubs across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Its other office in Latin America is based in Mexico City.
Leading the São Paulo hub is partner Rodolfo Macarrein, who has more than 25 years of experience advising TMT players across the region and will be based between São Paulo and Boston. “I look forward to leading our team in São Paulo. Our experience in transformation and deep knowledge of the Brazilian TMT landscape can help our clients accelerate investment, innovation, and sustainable growth in the region and beyond.”
