Teladoc Health hires Daniel Murgueitio from BCG to lead Peru business
Multinational telemedicine company Teladoc Health has appointed Daniel Murgueitio as its new Country Manager for Peru.
Daniel Murgueitio joins the company from Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he demonstrated a rapid professional ascent over the last several years.
After joining the prestigious strategy consulting firm as a consultant in September 2021, he moved into a project leader role by April 2023 and eventually attained the rank of principal. Throughout his spell at BCG, he worked on strategic and large-scale transformation projects for clients in multiple sectors.
His background in high-level strategy and organizational transformation is expected to play a vital role as Teladoc Health seeks to refine its business model in South America.
The appointment comes at a time when US-headquartered Teladoc Health is shifting its global strategy toward integrated, data-driven care. In Peru, this involves managing the transition from simple teleconsultations to more sophisticated offerings like chronic condition management and AI-enabled diagnostics.
In his role as Country Manager, he will lead the company’s go-to-market approach, operations and team. He has been tasked with growing the presence of Teladoc Health in the Peruvian market, where the demand for accessible, high-quality virtual healthcare continues to grow throughout 2026.
Earlier in his career, Murgueitio spent five years at Falabella, one of South America’s largest department stores, where he latterly served as Ecommerce Marketing Manager.
