In congruence with its rapidly expanding business in the region, global professional services firm Protiviti has another member firm to its network in Latin America. The new member firm in Bogota has been added through an agreement with local professional services firm Creinpro Colombia.
Protiviti is an international consulting firm, which provides a wide range of expertise to deliver comprehensive, customized solutions. Areas of expertise for the firm include finance, technology, operations, data, analytics, governance, risk, and even internal audits. The consultancy operates out of 70 offices in more than 20 countries.
Now, the firm has added to this network, particularly with the aim of consolidating its presence in Latin America. Protiviti has added a new member firm in Bogota, Colombia, which will specialize in services such as digital transformation, anti money-laundering compliance, cyber security management, and internal audit.
In addition, the firm will also provide clients with access to its Governance Portal, which is its risk and compliance software solution. The new office will supplement the Protiviti’s other locales in Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Mexico, catering to clients across Latin America, extending all the way to Central America and the Caribbean as well.
The Bogota office will be headed by Gamal Perez, who has been with the firm in Venezuela since 2006. Meanwhile, Creinpro, which offers the strategic partnership and the local apparatus, will be the firm’s sole representative for Colombia.
Commenting on the expansion, Joseph Tarantino, the President and CEO of Protiviti said, “We are pleased to be able to provide this additional support to new and existing clients looking to pursue market opportunities in Colombia and Latin America with the expertise in local regulatory and compliance matters that Protiviti is known for worldwide.”
