The Tecma Group appoints new Chairman and CEO K. Alan Russell
The Tecma Group, a Mexican shelter service provider, have appointed K. Alan Russell as the firm’s new Chairman and CEO. Russell was promoted from within, alongside the new President of Operations, Mark Earley, and new COO, Jose Grajeda.
The Tecma Group or Mexico Shelter is a nearshore outsourcing operation which offers a diverse range of professional services to over 75 clients. The Texan-based firm has been in the nearshore industry for 31 years and has offices in both the United States and Mexico specialising in Mexican production and shelter operations.
The Mexico Shelter business-model services US companies which manufacture in Mexico with consulting services including human resources, payroll and benefits, accounting, facility management and supply chain logistics, among others. The Tecma Group of Companies also consult with US companies looking to conduct shelter business operations, performing due diligence assessments, business plan formulation, site selection and building choice and facility start up supervision.
K. Alan Russell is the co-founder of Tecma and will take on the extra responsibility of Chairman as well as continuing on as CEO. Russell started the company over 30 years ago and has grown the company to become one of Mexico’s biggest shelter service providers.

Earley is a certified CPA and corporate tax and accounting expert who joined Tecma 10 years ago as CFO. Before joining the firm, he worked at business process and technology management professional services firm Genpact.

Grajeda has been with Tecma for nearly 20 years and has served as the organization’s Central Division Vice President of Operations for the past 10 years. He is an industrial engineer and maquiladora [foreign run export orientated factory in Mexico] operations expert helping clients establish manufacturing operations across Mexico.
