YPF, one of Argentina’s largest oil & gas companies, is working with Buenos Aires-based management consultancy Paradigma on the development of two new innovation challenges.

Together, YPF and Paradigma have concepted and launched innovation challenges aimed at improving customer experience and enhancing safety in maintenance operations.

The first challenge focuses on personalizing promotions at service stations for YPF’s 1.5 million customers. The company is seeking a technological solution that can offer tailored promotions in real time using AI. This solution should integrate with YPF’s existing loyalty program and mobile app.

The second challenge aims to develop a digital system that ensures safety during complex maintenance tasks at refineries and facilities. The system should provide real-time data access and integrate with YPF’s maintenance management systems.

Both challenges are open to companies in various fields, including technology, engineering, and digital solutions. The winners of the challenges will have the opportunity to collaborate with YPF and validate their solutions through pilot projects.

“We at Paradigm are accompanying YPF in a new innovation project. One of the challenges is the search for a new technology that help YPF get to know each customer better and offer them better offers and increase their satisfaction,” said Carolina Paz Tormo, Director at Paradigma.

These two innovation challenges launched by YPF and Paradigma highlight the increasing importance of digital transformation in the oil & gas sector. Embracing technological advancements is important for companies like YPF, who are increasingly looking to optimize operations, enhance safety, and improve customer satisfaction.
