Kroll bolsters dispute resolution practice with Global Project Strategy team

Global consulting firm Kroll has expanded its dispute resolution capabilities in Latin America with the hire of a team from Global Project Strategy.

The talent carve-out from Global Project Strategy, a Bogota-headquartered boutique specialized in construction consulting and dispute resolution services, will see professionals based in Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, and the United States join Kroll. The crossing team includes Bernardo Gamboa and Carlos Sosa, the co-founders of Global Project Strategy, who have been appointed Managing Directors at Kroll.

“This move significantly enhances Kroll’s capabilities in Latin America, as well as globally, in international arbitration and dispute resolution; specifically in the areas of infrastructure, construction, energy and financial arbitrations, delay analysis, quantum computing, and expert witness services,” said Graham McNeill, Global Head of Expert Services at Kroll.

With more than 250 experts focused on delay analysis and quantification of financial and technical damages, Kroll is one of the world’s leading consulting firms in the disputes segment. The firm is currently working on more than 40 arbitration proceedings in different Chambers, such as the ICC, ICSID, ICDR, and is assisting leading law firms across multiple countries, including in many Latin American geographies.

In the region, Kroll has a headcount of around 300, across offices in Argentina, Brazil, the Caribbean, Colombia and Mexico.
