Peers appoints Lucien Cohen as director of strategic alliances
Peers, a Brazilian business and technology consulting firm, has hired Lucien Cohen as its new director of strategic alliances.
In his new role, Lucien Cohen will lead the partnership agenda of Peers with major technology companies, such as Google and Microsoft. He brings extensive experience in the digital, software and consulting sectors, having worked at Accenture, Qlik, Oracle and Red Hat.
Cohen’s most recent corporate experience was at Red Hat, where he worked for over 18 years in several (leadership) roles. Between 2005 and 2014, he worked at Accenturein positions such as director of strategic alliances for Brazil and director of alliances and resale for Latin America.
Commenting on his move to Peers, Cohen said: “I have seen Peers grow rapidly, especially in technology, and I am very happy to be part of this team. I hope to contribute to this development and bring about alliances between the company and large companies, which contribute to the transformation and efficiency agenda of corporations.”
Founded in 2012, Peers is one of the fastest growing consultancies in the Brazilian market, recognized by the Financial Times for three consecutive years. The company currently has around 400 employees. Clients include Grupo Boticário, Cogna, Yduqs, Alpargatas, Marisa, and Grupo Fleury.
Everton Amorim, Managing Director of Peers, stated: “Around 50% of our revenue comes from projects involving technology. That’s why we structured the alliances area, which focuses on developing technological solutions that meet the needs of our clients.”
