UHY adds member firms in Nicaragua and Paraguay
Global accounting and advisory network UHY has expanded its presence in Latin America with the addition of new members firms in Nicaragua and Paraguay.
In Nicaragua, Managua-based Morales, Tellez & Asociados CÍa has joined the global network, providing UHY with an on the ground presence in Central America’s largest country. As part of the association, the local accounting and consulting firm will operate as UHY Auditores & Consultores.
Founded in 2012, UHY Auditores & Consultores offers a full range of services include administration, management consulting, finance, accounting, tax consulting, human resources and digital, serving clients across many industries.
While its base is in Nicaragua, the firm has a client base that includes companies based in Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Colombia and Honduras. To this end, the local firm will work closely with other UHY members in the region, including UHY Pérez in Guatemala, a member of UHY since 2008.
Morales, Tellez & Asociados is led by managing partner Omar Pérez and senior partner Mario Tellez, and has two other partners and eleven professionals. “The global UHY network has over 8,200 colleagues sharing expertise and knowledge for the benefit of clients and these combined resources strengthen our offering,” said Pérez.
Meanwhile, in Paraguay, Consultoria Integral Del Mercosur joined UHY a few months ago, and has since rebranded as UHY Consultoría Integral Del Mercosur. The firm has a team of 26 staff and two partners, and has offices in Coronel Oviedo, Asunción, Villarrica and Ciudad del Este.
