Andersen adds valuation consultancies in four Latin American markets

Andersen Global, a network of advisory, tax and legal firms, has extended its footprint in Latin America with the addition of collaborating firms in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.
Coming shortly after Andersen Global added a partner in Brazil, the network has now significantly beefed up its presence in the region with five new members, all of which specialise in valuation services.
Based in Buenos Aires, First Capital Group is a team of finance professionals with over 30 years of experience providing business and financial solutions, including valuation services.
With offices in Santiago and Miami, Valoriza is an independent firm providing valuations with a focus on corporate valuations and mergers & acquisitions in the mid-market segment. Also based in Chile is Valuaciones de Chile, which provides independent valuation services focused on real estate, assets, and machinery and equipment.
Located in Bogota, Confianza specializes in machinery and equipment appraisals, providing clients in Latin America with comprehensive support in their financial operations.
Finally, Mexico-based Giron Valuation Services provides business valuations and financial advisory services to both local and global clients. The firm operates out of Estado de México.
The Valuation practice of Andersen Global works with companies, funds, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices to provide valuations of businesses, tangible and intangible assets, and complex securities for tax, financial reporting, and transaction advisory purposes.
Commenting on the expansion, Leonardo Mesquita, the firm’s regional managing director for Latin America, said: “Latin America continues to be an exciting market for growth for us. Our clients are increasingly requiring independent valuations throughout the region, and we look forward to meeting their valuation needs as one firm.”
Launched in September last year, Andersen Global’s Valuation practice now has a presence in around 25 countries across North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.
